A meaningful life is one spent in the service of others.
I am most moved by the value of service and on this day, I am reminded of people I have known that have demonstrated the bravest attribute of love, putting the needs of others; their families, neighbors, complete strangers like you and I, before their own.
From my own personal experience, I know a greater gratitude and hold a new understanding of all that is relinquished within this choice. I have the uppermost respect and care for our soldiers, not just today, but everyday.

That is why it has become our mission at the Orange County Rescue Mission to provide opportunities for these men and women who have served our country.
If you would like to show your appreciation to our veterans and join our mission to serve these men and women, visit our website to learn more about our Veterans Task Force.
We are committed to developing a veterans specific Village of Hope program and are in the process of rehabbing 8 housing units in Tustin that will be converted into transitional housing for veterans in need. If you feel called to this mission, we are in need of plumbers, electricians and subcontractors of all trades to DONATE labor and materials to make this happen.
Help us serve our veterans with empowering tools to transition back into civilian life through the care of the Rescue Mission program.
