Thanks to your generosity, a mother and child have a safe place to sleep tonight. A young man discovers there is a life free from drugs and crime. And a family can stay together to rebuild their life after loss.
You’ve helped change the lives of thousands of men, women and children in our community, but so many more need help.

Affordable housing is scarce, gas and food prices are skyrocketing, and jobs that pay a living wage are hard to find. Add to that a crisis: a medical emergency, a job loss, abuse, eviction, addiction — and families and lives are torn apart.
Thankfully, we’ve received a generous match grant DOUBLING your gift to help men, women and families in need.
At the Rescue Mission, we help restore lives and families. Our programs include life skills, education, addiction recovery and job training to help moms and dads find new ways to support their families. You help make the Rescue Mission a place of healing and hope for those who’ve fallen on these hard times.
And right now, this Matching Grant doubles the impact of your gift. It’s a great opportunity to give.

The book of Isaiah talks about what happens when we help the poor in our community: . . . if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed . . . you will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. (Isaiah 58:9-11)
That picture has been powerful to me this summer as our entire state has faced a terrible drought. Just like giving our thirsty trees, lawns and gardens a much-needed drink of water brings the withering plants back to life, meeting the needs of our desperate neighbors gives new life to our entire community.
I hope you’ll take advantage of this great opportunity to make your gift go TWICE as far. You can make all the difference for people in need this summer!
P.S. This $75,000 Matching Grant DOUBLES every gift you give by September 30.
