Our dreams and visions pale in comparison to the bigger plan that God is mapping out all around us.
Where I feel beyond blessed to see my hopes for the Orange County Rescue Mission unfold before my eyes, I could have never projected the ministry that I envisioned serving the homeless to expand to a degree of also serving those without a church to call home.
Over the last year, OCRM’s partnership with Church at the Mission has flourished beyond the Village of Hope in Orange County to our Rescue Mission located in Corona as well. With the leadership and vision of my friend Pastor Tony Woods and his staff, our Rescue Mission campuses have opened their doors to those who are looking for community and a place to call home on Sundays.
I am so blessed by these communities of faith and the support they have provided for the men, women and children that are currently residing at the Rescue Missions and working programs to restore their lives. I am blown away by the work that God has done through the availability of these faithful brothers and sisters.
The Church at the Mission Corona, in partnership with the Corona Norco Rescue Mission, were able to celebrate Halloween with an open invite family Harvest Festival event. The stories that have already begun to trickle in have moved my heart with what God is doing all around us.
Where we have plans or dreams to see one hope fulfilled, God is orchestrating a movement all around us to bring hope to all of his children. The Harvest event last night is one example of God capitalizing on our obedience to walk in faith and I am so exciting to watch more of his plans unfold as lives are changed both within and surrounding the communities around the Rescue Missions.
